I havent played the work previousley dimmer. I replaced the Chandalier in the dining room. I have a black wire, white wire and red wire. I assume that black and white = red = positive = dimmer means .....

I tried several ways to connect, but without success. The light is turned on and off does not, even if the controller switches ....
